Arslan Siddique
Hi everyone! Welcome to my home on the web! I am a Computer Vision researcher working as a research fellow at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies since September 2024. I have completed my PhD in Computer Science at University of Pisa, Italy, mainly funded by the prestigious Marie Curie PhD fellowship in EVOCATION ITN at Visual Computing Lab.
I have worked on a diverse spectrum of Computer Vision, ranging from Object detection and tracking to multi-view 3D reconstruction. During my PhD, I developed MoReLab for image-based interactive 3D modeling and user-assisted 3D reconstruction. I also worked on point cloud registration and key-frame extraction during my PhD. Currently, I am working on the automatic detection and removal of unwanted objects from large amounts of steel scrap.
